Family vacation, time away from daily routines and the distractions of technology for simpler joys.
Our hands will be free for: holding a book, holding a pencil, holding hands.
Our time will be marked by: restful stillness, curious exploration, unhurried conversations.
We will slip outside the predictable routines of: homework, paperwork, housework.
I am logging off, shutting down and reconnecting with my family. Grasping the moment tightly with both hands.
