faith

Yesterday I held my breath, pensive in a moment of doubt. I labored over broken pieces of confidence trying to capture a picture that might promise the reassurance of easier days to come. Too close to the sharp corners of an experience I had to move outside the moment, releasing myself of the burden of tidying what could not be so neatly swept into place. Hope felt too fragile to bear the weight of so many uncertainties and so I balanced myself with a quieter strength; faith in self, faith in the goodness of others, and appreciation for the experiences that shape life lessons and invite change.
Today is a season of possibility.
I have great faith in fools – self-confidence my friends will call it.”
Poe is an unexpected, but thoughtfully playful reference. Thank you!
