sweet spot

There may be no truer photograph of my personality; my proximity to delight and transparent guilt. Arms in a gesture of surrender, wide eyed eagerness to please. I love this photograph for its unfiltered honesty.
I have refrained from sharing photographs here, partly in a conscious effort to craft images with words, but also to honor a measure of privacy given the intimacy of my musings. This year, I am hoping to engage personal photographs as a part of my One Little Word. To exercise wholeheartedness with a new gesture of trust.

That giant cake looks so delicious! And happy birthday to you! 🙂
Thank you, Noor. I’ll save the sweet birthday wish for September, but the cake does beg a treat.
A heart that hasn’t been tampered with by the world yet, expressing that innocent and trust to the world…that’s why babies are so lovable Marie 🙂
To think we spend so much of our lives seeking that which we are born to so effortlessly; unconditional love and vulnerability.
Yes. And just a little something that spirit passed onto me…spirit knows everything, but does not ‘know’ it. It has to be ‘experienced’ to understand it.
Otherwise why our journey down here if we ‘know’ everything anyway.
Hence the journey to fall, trip and stumble. That is experienced to be understood, and then we can learn by that to appreciate the good things in our life AND learn to love ourselves.
It teaches much beauty. And yes, lots of wobbly bits, but they are needed so that we understand and appreciate the end product….us.
It all comes back to that self love, finding that beauty inside us all 🙂
